About Us

After leaving school at 16, I began a 3½-year plumbing apprenticeship, working for a plumbing and heating company in Rawdon while studying at Leeds College of Building. During this time, I gained my NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Plumbing, Level 3 Gas qualification and G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification.

Over the following nine years, I developed extensive experience across all aspects of plumbing and heating, from general plumbing repairs and small works through to complete bathroom installations and renovations.

I then moved to a company in Otley, where I took on a more technically focused role, specialising in boiler breakdowns, servicing and repairs. This allowed me to develop in-depth knowledge across a wide range of boiler manufacturers and gas appliances. These nine years of industry experience were invaluable to my development as an engineer.

I later expanded my skill set by gaining LPG qualifications, allowing us to specialise in LPG-fuelled properties and leisure homes.

In 2025, Crosscheck Plumbing + Heating was established as a family-run husband-and-wife business. As Christians, we were inspired to build a company based on honest advice, quality workmanship, a strong work ethic and fair pricing — providing customers with a service they can trust.
